HydroDron-1 – Certificate of Seaworthiness

We are pleased to inform you that the pride of Marine Technology Ltd., i.e. the autonomous HydroDron-1 vessel, received a Certificate of Seaworthiness. Few autonomous vessels in the world have received such a certificate. In order to receive the above document, a technical inspection was carried out, which HydroDron-1 passed without any problems.

The Certificate of Seaworthiness entitles a given vessel to sail on inland and sea coastal waterways both in Poland and in other Member States.

The legal basis is the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of July 12, 2002 on certificates of navigability of inland navigation vessels (Journal of Laws of 2002, No. 137, item 1156).
