Analysis of the identification of needs for the implementation of the CEERIS system in the area of ​​RIS system operation in Poland

We would like to inform you that Marine Technology has won a tender in a public procurement for conducting an analysis of the identification of needs in the scope of the implementation of the CEERIS system in the area of ​​operation of the RIS system in Poland. The order was announced by the Inland Navigation Office in Szczecin as part of the River Information Services Corridor Management Execution 2 project.

The preparation of the document included an analysis of legal regulations in the area of ​​operation of the RIS system in Poland regarding reporting by vessels. It included:
– a review of the applicable legal provisions that regulate the reporting of information by inland vessels;
– identification of needs and ideas for solutions that could use the CEERIS platform,
– a proposal to introduce regulations in the area of ​​operation of the RIS system in Poland related to the use of CEERIS;
– a description of recommendations regarding changes in legal regulations that will allow the use of the CEERIS platform;
– a description of the proposal of specific legislative and administrative actions that were considered necessary to implement the identified needs;
– a diagram of the proposed flow of information via the CEERIS platform.
